2020 Grammy nominee, Eric Alexandrakis, is known for his avant style and breaking barriers yet he surprises us with this classic gem he came up with called, “Here Comes The Snow”. It can he heard on radio stations across the UK and Europe.

What inspired you to record a holiday song?

A dream I had ice skating with Charlize Theron…plus I love Christmas music.

What is your fondest holiday memory as a kid?

Getting a Superman watch and a snowy Christmas morning in Athens, Greece.

Do you still get excited about seeing gifts under the tree? What was your most favorite surprise?

Maybe a little.  Favorite surprise was getting a Bugs Bunny doll 16 years after I’d asked for it.

Do you have any special holiday family traditions you would like to share?

My father making pancakes for all in the morning.

What is your favorite Christmas/holiday song (that isn’t yours)?

Band Aid “Do They Know It’s Christmas”

What inspired you to write a Christmas/holiday song?

The idea that you can make any subject matter part of a Christmas song, as long as there are bells on the recording.

Do you have any holiday recipes you would like to share?

English Christmas pudding ablaze.

What are your fondest musical memories associated with the holiday season?

Christmas Caroling in Greece with my older brother and cousin and then dividing the money we collected.

In your opinion, what is the all-time best holiday song?

I can’t pick one song, but can say the entire “Nutcracker Suite”.

Do you believe in Santa?

I love Santa Monica!

What message do you want people to hear when they listen to your song?

“I want more of whatever he’s got!”

What do you enjoy more?

Receiving gifts or giving them? Returning them woohooo!
