What inspired you to record a holiday song?
We love recording holiday songs! The absolute joy of the holiday season inspired us to record Very Merry Christmastime which was written with Lisa’s multi-layered, 4-part vocal harmony in mind. We heard the song being set as a retro 60’s arrangement, with vibey guitars, organ and lots of drums and percussion.
What is your fondest holiday memory as a kid?
[Tim] My mom was a wonderful baker. Every Christmas Season she would bake about a dozen different varieties of cookies. She also made pumpkin pies, custard pies and the best fruitcake ever. And there was always plenty at home no matter how many she gave away to everyone who stopped by.
[Lisa] One of the perks about marrying Tim was his mom’s delicious deserts. She even created our wedding cake!

We both love Christmastime is Here from A Charlie Brown Christmas.
